87.346km with 1459m climb in 7:11:55. Really about 90km 8 hours active as paused accidentally for some bike a hike.

Cairngorm loop from Linn of Dee west down Glen feshie north through woods past glenmore lodge around to Ford's of Avon and south down Glen Derry. Was not really sure how much pushing there would be. Set off with just enough clothes to survive a night and food for the day so more than I normally carry.

First bit of hiking through to Glen feshie was minimal as it's very dry and the marshes were mostly rideable. Stoped at waterfall bridge as leeking air from rear wheel. Cleaned in river to see where leaking and tried shaking the sealant around. Stoped again half an hour later and put a tube in so rest of ride on a hard rear as not wanting a pinch flat. Lunch at loch an Eilein. Ice cream soon after at loch Morlich where the beach looked like a seaside resort.

Had to push most of the big climb the regular granite blocks laied across the track were killing me riding. Next bit nice and rideable but then the bit into the Ford's of Avon had lots of pushing. Tea stop after fording forgot to resume so the next 3 km of mostly pushing not logged realised when I stoped to top for my banana before final decent. Descent generally good but I was getting fed up of the made up stream crossings 3 out of 4 you could ride with care but there were regular ones that needed a dismount.

Fairly done in by the end. Not keen on the big 180 mile loop that my loop stole from but it's probably a good time for a fast time with the ground conditions.
