8.992km with 226m climb in 57.11. Compass sport cup first round. Short brown foothill. Aggressive from the start a nit too much slowed dog leggings back out of 3. None existent path exiting 5 hesitant 7. 10 there was an untapped path before the flag just like the mapped one after it so bounced back too soon. Back out to this path again saw earth bank beyond and worked it out. 1 min lost. Fairly clean from there just having to force myself to keep the pace up. Finish was fairly brutal long easy up hill the flat easy run to the line. Collapsed for a bit after finishing. Disappointing to download in 4th but only 3 mins off kit is actually rather good.
