55.053km with 1261m climb in 3:32:54 Llandefalle 3.5 hour mtbo score. Second time here, I had a bad rib last year so was a bit back. 3 or 4 controls from clearing. Ian got all but 1 though so set off looking to clear this time.
Went anti clockwise which left me commited at end but did mean more wood and shade second half when hotter. 1 road climb to 4 3 2 25 23 out and back 24 round hill 21 then big climb to 21 hot and hearding sheep. 20 19 slowed down by more sheep on decent to 18. Into wood shade nice. 17 16 bit hesitant to 15. 14 6 12 long hot drag up to 11 and 7. Decided to go for 13 which was the only one sensible to drop. 5 8 9 and 10 to finish nice downhill finish a bit late.
First next best 1 15 pointer short.
