9.449km with 142m climb in 1:05:39. Scottish champs. Still coughing but was going better than last weekend and the tough terrain suited.me well. Fairly fortunate at 1 as clee enough to see when I would of expected to turn other way. Right along the planting lines for 2. Fence and path for 3. Long leg slightly left in compass then track and safe path approach. Carefull for 5 in the nice wood. Was trying to be safe on ride for 6 but was actually going 90 degrees off on path. Fortunate to hit a road and ne able to do 3 sides of square lost 1.30 to 2 mins. 7 ok 8 track then south of line with john Musgrave ensuring I kept pushing through march deliberately to path beyond to attack. A bit stuck in gorse going to 9. Technical 10 11 and 12 good. Lost 20 to 30 seconds turning wrong way in gorse getting to last control.

4th m50 only 3 mins off Charlie which is a lot closer than normal. Stupid error cost me second though.
